Training Log ~

This is Monday and Tuesdays workout. Wednesday I flaked rested, and today my hamstrings are still a little tight but I will hit it again Firday, and definitely hit some kettlebell work over the weekend! Memorial day, or as Alwyn Cosgrove calls it, “the grand unveiling”, is only a few weeks away!

For my diet, I have stopped eating so much Spanish food =( , its not that it is so bad for you, it is just that you can never make just a little bit of rice and beans. Then platanos are just great fried, but I will bake or grill them from time to time.

Then drinking tons of water and being consistent with eating something every few hours. My snacks include a handful of walnuts, or a bowl of mixed berries.

Tuesdays workout was a good one! I am hitting a 4×6 rep scheme this week – shooting for 3 sessions.
Monday I kept it pretty light, I didnt have much time –

Using a 35lb Kettlebell:
100 Snatches (Big shout out to Tameko for coaching me through the last 25 reps, it got a little rough at the end there!)
Windmills 3×5

Tuesdays Workout:
Clean/Squat/Press Combo (45lb Kettlebell) 4×6
BB Deadlift 4×6 – last set was 245lbs, not too bad for the first go around in like a month!
BB Bench Press 4×6 – last set was 155lbs
Seated Rows 4×6
Palloff Press 4×8

Total body workouts are extremely taxing, but the results speak for themselves, anyone pressed for time should be hitting total body workouts regularly. Even an upper/lower body split needs at least 3 days a week to be effective. With a 2 day a week total body program you can actually see some good improvement, and definitely maintain yourself. To increase the results you just have to increase the volume by adding one more day in the week.

JUST GET IT DONE!!!!
